Status of academic contract initiatives underway (as of 4/14/2005):
| Angel CMS Software | Discussions suspended for now. Insufficient potential savings to justify proceeding at this time |
| Blackboard | Discussions to date have not resulted in advantageous SUNY-wide terms. |
| Macromedia | We are working on a SUNY-wide contract. Campuses with small orders may place them with UBMicro who is a U-wide authorized reseller. |
| MathCAD | Proposal received for SUNY-wide licensing. Campus interest was too low to proceed. |
| SAS | Discussions have been held regarding a SUNY-wide agreement. At present, vendor is unwilling to grant concessions above standard academic pricing. |
